This Howell Mountain blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (58%), Cabernet Franc (30%), Merlot (11%) and Petit Verdot (1%) is surprisingly approachable and drinking beautifully now. Extremely supple tannins and a complex flavor profile of boysenberry/blackberry jam with herbal accents are the result of a very cool vintage that allowed for extended hang times.
